The Rolling Stones - Play With Fire (1965)

."No me gustan los Stones" Necesito mis anteojos para escribir, o me distraigo tratando de encontrar sentido a las figuras amorfas que se van formando en el monitor a medida que voy tipeando...there we go.

No sé mucho de esta banda y nunca llamaron mi atención, pero este tema en particular si.
Me produce una sensación de tensión contenida, en algún momento la canción va a explotar, pero solo llega a un delicado declive para morir a los pocos segundos y con solo 2:14 de vida. Es que la canción en si, se trata de una amenaza...y cuando uno amenaza solo genera tensión, verdad?

Creo que son las notas en la guitarra y ese teclado extraño que acompaña la voz...
¿panderetas? si, las panderetas* generan un hambiente más relajado.

"The year 1965 started for`the Stones with a success, but not a big success as might have been expected.
At the beginning of January a new single was released in the USA: Heart of Stone with What A Shame on the flip side. It's highest position in de US Top 100 was 15, not quite as big a success as had been hoped.

In the UK the second album was released on 15th January, simply titled 'The Rolling Stones No. 2' .

Much of the songs were identical to the American album 12 By 5, with some exceptions: Everybody Needs Somebody To Love, You Can't Catch Me, Down The Road Apiece, What A Shame and Pain In My Heart.

After recording a couple of songs in Los Angeles, they boared a jet to Sydney Australia where they gave three concerts in the Auditorium, wildly successfull. They also went to New Zealand and Singapore.
On 25th February their next single was released: The Last Time and Play With Fire". (link)
