Google's Eric Schmidt on What the Web Will Look Like in 5 Years

Que sería de mí, sin mi visión cínica de la realidad.
Eric Schmidt CEO de Google, piensa que la humanidad no está preparada para la revolución tecnológica que se avecina.
"There was 5 exabytes of information created between the dawn of civilization through 2003," Schmidt said, "but that much information is now created every 2 days, and the pace is increasing...People aren't ready for the technology revolution that's going to happen to them."

El usuario deja de ser pasivo, todos participamos en la creacion de "informacion", quien utiliza esta enorme cantidad de datos? y con que fin?

Schmidt dice "If I look at enough of your messaging and your location, and use Artificial Intelligence," Schmidt said, "we can predict where you are going to go."
Si lo vemos desde esta perspectiva twitter y facebook ya no son plataformas tan despreocupadas. por que será que al llenar un formulario en internet mentimos sobre nuestro DNI o dirección real pero no dudamos al subir informacion de forma más inocente con un twitt o en facebook?

bajo la construccion de un espacio social inventado el robo de datos ya no es necesario...la informacion ya esta ahi.

"Show us 14 photos of yourself and we can identify who you are. You think you don't have 14 photos of yourself on the internet? You've got Facebook photos! People will find it's very useful to have devices that remember what you want to do, because you forgot...But society isn't ready for questions that will be raised as result of user-generated content."

La paranoia ya esta en mí y comienzo a pensar en un futuro donde el monitoreo sea algo regular y cambie nuestra percepción sobre lo que es privado, real o virtual para siempre.

No es tan difícil de cree, o será que ya me estoy poniendo vieja?
